ProActive™ is a fast-acting, chemically engineered odour control solution from Probe Industries. Unlike surface treatments that mask smells, ProActive™ works by neutralising odour compounds before they’re released into the air. It targets malodorous sulphidic compounds at the liquid phases, making it ideal for managing odours in anaerobic waste and sludge systems.

ProActive™ is especially effective for odours from sewage sludge, trade effluents, composting liquors and landfill leachates. It is widely used by water companies, food processors, rendering plants, abattoirs and recycling facilities, where wastewater effluent odours post a risk into workplace safety, public perception and compliance.

    ProActive™ is injected directly into anaerobic sludge, cake, or liquors, with typical dosing rates between 50 and 150ml per cubic metre. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including facilities with strict odour thresholds.
