Description

Probe Industries’ ProActive is a breakthrough chemically engineered product that destroys malodours from sewage, sludge and landfill leachates before they are emitted to air.

ProActive destroys odours in all anaerobic liquids, sludge and sludge cake. ProActive’s innovative technology targets and instantly oxidises odourous sulphidic compounds in the liquid phase prior to emission into the atmosphere.

ProActive treatment does not inhibit further biological treatment of centrate or restrict further sludge treatment by digestion, incineration or liming. Reuse of treated sludge to land application or environmental improvements are all unaffected by ProActive treatment.

 

ProActive treatment can often improve centrate quality with no increase in polymer usage.

ProActive provides an effective and easily managed solution to odour problems not only eliminating Hydrogen sulphide but also the 'cabbage smelling' mercaptans and dimethylsulphide.

• Injected directly into liquid or sludge
• Typical dose rates of 50-150ml per m of sludge or liquor
