Boom Mobile - Improved Results with Radical Approach to Odour Control

A new product has been launched by Probe Industries that has taken a radical approach to dispersing odour control agents. The system has progressed through field trials and has now been launched in the market and is based on a boom dispersal method which in some applications is a superior solution to a perimeter spray system.

“The principal” says Probe Industries MD Phillip Rutherford, “is to destroy the odour at source, before it has a chance to become air borne.”

The boom system disperses the odour control agent, such as AiroPure, across a surface area and is seen as particularly appropriate to landfill sites.

“The boom system is used to disperse AiroPure across a working cell on a landfill site and it stops malodours there and then. “

The system is seen not only as an improvement by users but regulators are also recommend a ‘spray at source’ approach that is the distinctive characteristic of Probe’s boom system.

Although the Probile Mobile Atomiser is still the best solution for confided areas, the boom spray is likely to become the leading method of controlling odours in larger open areas.
