AiroPure Impresses for Tyne & Wear Metro System
Several private & public transport companies are now trialling the use of AiroPure within carriages, pedestrian terminal areas & walkways. Their united objective is the fast, permanent elimination of odour from contaminated surfaces & within air particles. The benefit to commuters operatives & staff alike is the creation of a cleaner environment which in turn, will lead to increased usage of transport systems.
A successful trial of AiroPure has been recently undertaken by Nexus, which owns & manages Tyne and Wear’s Metro System. The company is in the process of implementing a £300 million modernisation programme for the passenger network.
Initially, AiroPure has been applied in Metro lifts & it could now be extended to other areas where odours can cause nuisance to Metro passengers. Malcolm Irving, a Technical Manager at Nexus said, “It is very important to us that passengers using Metro enjoy their commute on a daily basis. We are pleased to be working with Probe Industries to focus on making Metro a pleasant environment for everyone who uses it. The initial trials have proven extremely successful and AiroPure has really impressed us.”
